In a significant development, the European Parliament and the Council of the EU, under the watch of the European Commission, have reached on the 13th December a political agreement on the revised Construction Products Regulation.
This agreement aims to provide manufacturers with legal certainties and to support the sector’s drive for more sustainable products on the market.
The final text is expected to undergo the last political and administrative steps under the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU in early 2024.
