PU Europe advocates for a sensible F-Gas Regulation that supports the Renovation Wave

As the Fluorinated Greenhouses Gases (F-Gas) regulation undergoes the final stage of its review, PU Europe is calling on decision-makers not to harm sustainable renovation solutions such as in-situ spray polyurethane foam relying on a low GWP class of F-Gases. This kind of material should be increasingly needed to respond to the technical challenges that more and more renovation projects are faced with.

However, a potential ban on all F-Gases in foam threatens to remove that high performance solution.

Read on our open letter, stressing the essential role of in-situ spray polyurethane foam in achieving sustainable renovation works in order to combat GHG emissions. The letter, directed at decision-makers, urges them to balance climate objectives with industry innovation.
